AI TRANSLATE CALL THIS WEEK · DATE NOT FIXED
- 🌐 AI Translate — DT Call This Week, Date Not Yet Fixed: Use case and next steps discussion with the DT team. DT's initial feedback: reverse-direction translation (local languages → English) would be more useful than the existing one-way flow only. Aug 11 AI SoS (Monika): feedback discussions \"were pending due to the World Cup period but are now resuming.\" DT has not yet shared their expectations / updated requirements — treat the call as scoping, not a requirement review. No date confirmed — slot still to be agreed with DT. Detail contact: Vishnu Sankar.
- AI Compass — On Hold (POC Complete): Use Case Review call held Jul 21 ✓ — 8+ use cases reviewed (banner AI sourcing, sponsor/offer creation from contracts, consolidated reporting, brand categorization, acquisition channel distinction). Compass was scoped as a proof of concept — POC complete, no further next steps planned for now.
- AI Sense: Commercials shared Jul 7. Nereida moving out of Magenta Moments — Monika reached out to Arindam Nath Jul 20 asking for time to connect. Summer vacations causing delays. Awaiting Arindam's availability.
Emirates
SEPT 2 DEMO — 8 DAYS · AI INDIVIDUALIZE SIGNED OFF
- 🎬 Sept 2 — Agentic Journey Demo to Dr. Najjib (8 days out): Hard, negotiated date — EK originally asked for one week; "the maximum time we could buy till 2nd of September" (AI SoS Aug 11). Build is live: 215-compass deployed to UAT (Aug 19, Brain Trust integrated), app v2217 on TestFlight (Aug 21), opt-in flow UI + backend complete (Aug 24). Partner coverage 25 scraped → 95 confirmed URLs → ~200+ processing — dev not blocked by sponsor data. Guardrails: MVP stays member-initiated only, temporary UX explicitly labelled as temporary, no scope committed until Kalpak approves wireframes. Open blocker: Octa JWT vs Gravity JWT auth mismatch (Aug 20, unresolved). Internal Agentic Journey MVP Demo rehearsal Thu Aug 27, 5:00–5:45 PM IST (Teams, organised by Kapileswar) ahead of the client demo.
- ⚠ Privilege Code Duplication — ~12–15K Members Affected (Aug 24): System caps at an upper threshold of 256, causing duplicate privilege codes. Kalpak directed it be run as a separate serialised track from AI adoption so it does not delay go-live. Proposed long-term fix is more digits in the code — pending client confirmation that downstream systems can absorb it.
- ✅ AI Individualize — ALI SIGNED OFF (Aug 24), Moving to PROD Closed Group: Aug 20: Aakriti Bhat sent Ali the AI-Individualised Offer and notification configuration document plus SWED app / GRAVTY® UAT testing evidence and the UAT handback file. Aug 21: chased for sign-off. Aug 24, Ali Lootah: "The build looks good overall. The Activations team will share a few copy updates, but from our side, we are happy to proceed with the closed-group testing." LJI replied same day: PROD Closed Group setup being initiated; copy changes for PROD go-live awaited from Activations. Prior state (now superseded): Reward structure (2X / 25% Luxury) simulated on Jun handback — 35,446 members, 1.87M incremental bonus miles, 53% of 3.5M budget ceiling. Simulation results shared back with Ali Lootah — awaiting his confirmation to proceed. Jul 30 internal build sanity: CTA added to offer cards ("Click here to know the partner"); dynamic offer subtitles proposed; category icons fully configurable — reward structure rules still pending Ali's confirmation.
- Agentic AI NL Search — Demo to Emirates Aug 5, Strongly Received: Anita and team ran their own unrehearsed prompts; output was relevant, not pre-engineered. "The reception was really good" — better than EK expected for a first iteration. EK asks: (1) make experience miles-centric not just partner search; (2) offer opt-in inside the chat journey (opt-in is mandatory to earn on EK offers); (3) softer LLM tone on no-match results. Steering committee demo requested ASAP + broader EK team hands-on testing.
- Next for NL Search: Move from dev-tenant app to a controlled beta selected EK users interact with directly — polished UX explicitly not required. LJI assessing the route into the Emirates test environment. Dependency on Ali: sponsor URL sheet to be completed from serial 31 onward (1–30 done) — prototype covers only ~25 sponsors today. Offer data also needs base-vs-promotional context so the agent can explain a "3X Miles" offer properly.
- 🚀 Infinity — Proposal Held Pending Alignment Call (AT-164 / AT-171): Scope work complete — approach shaped across mobilisation, delivery construct, resourcing and commercials. LJI has deliberately not sent the proposal, requesting 30 minutes first to align on three points that materially shape it: (1) how much budgetary visibility Emirates needs at this stage, (2) expected timeline/urgency, (3) the most pragmatic route into initial discovery and scoping. Rationale: avoid an indicative construct that changes materially once priority scope is defined. Slot proposed for 3:00–3:30 PM Dubai on Aug 17 — no confirmation from Chris Gale recorded as of Aug 25 (8 days).
- 📨 Infinity — Discovery Proposal Sent Aug 21, Awaiting Chris Gale: The Aug 17 alignment call went ahead. Recap same day: (1) discovery-led mobilisation — priority is not to prematurely estimate or resource the full MVP but to run a focused discovery covering priority MVP scope, technology/application approach, reuse of existing GRAVTY®/SWED capability versus extension or new build, UX, dependencies and Emirates stakeholders; (2) outcomes to cover prioritised scope, integration approach, capability fit-gap, dependencies, sequencing and resource/budget requirements; (3) LJI to send a discovery proposal by EOD Wednesday (Aug 19). That date slipped — Aug 19: "we need a couple of more days to finalise the proposal. Does it work if we get back to you by Friday?" Proposal was then sent Friday Aug 21: a focused four-week Discovery & Scoping engagement with a lean team construct, working cadence, required Emirates inputs and commercial outline, concluding in three outputs — an agreed Scope of Work, a confirmed mobile technology direction, and a defined Build-phase plan and commercial proposal. Structured so delivery commitment scales progressively once scope and dependencies are validated. No reply from Chris Gale recorded as of Aug 25 (2 working days). Superseded watch item: The Aug 11 commitment was to share the plan "by the end of this week" (Fri Aug 15). Emirates has not received a document, so from Chris's side this reads as a missed date regardless of the reasoning — unless the alignment call lands and resets expectations explicitly — it has not been held as of Aug 25. Same-day request with ~5 hours' notice. It has now slipped 8 days with nothing formal sent and no reply logged — and attention has since shifted to the Sept 2 demo. All six analysis sub-tasks (AT-165–170) remain To Do in Jira.
Jumeirah
AI-SCAN ON HOLD · AGENTIC MVP PROPOSED
- AI Recommend: Live on Prod. Sep go-live target for Experiences model. Aug 5 triage: of the client's feedback items, 5 are addressable via QuickSight reporting; the remaining 3–4 need development — POC started, results next day. No PRD is coming from the client, so LJI is writing the requirements doc itself (Kapileswar, committed end of week). Aug 4: propensity scores confirmed for UI display at go-live, model explainability deferred to a later roadmap item.
- AI Pulsar: Weekly/fortnightly updates to Jumeirah ongoing. GRAVTY® 2.15.0 deployed on Jumeirah UAT (AT-8, Aug 11) — client informed, Jumeirah team now testing from their end.
- Agentic AI MVP: Art of the Possible workshop proposed to Candida Goradia + Lucy Wilson (Jul 27 email) — no response yet.
- AI-Scan: Placed on hold by Candy (Jul 24) — Jumeirah One transformation is moving away from points-based programme; this feature will be phased out, so investment not commercially justified. Kapileswar acknowledged. Formally moved to On Hold in Jira (AT-112, Aug 11) — "requirement on hold as their priority is to focus on delivering the MVP scope." Door open if requirements change.

COMMERCIAL SENT
- AI Individualize (MVP): Personalised offers — upsell, cross-sell, frequency. 6 use cases in Discovery (AT-132–AT-137).
- AI Recommend (Fast Follow): Next Best Offer in coupon carousel — To Do.
- Commercial: Sent to Liverpool — awaiting client revert on terms. 9 AI module stories scoped (AT-122), 7 future-phase modules in backlog.
Sunrise GmbH
REQUIREMENTS IN · FEASIBILITY REVIEW
- AI Recommend — Newsletter Personalisation (Aug 6 demo call): Personalise newsletter offers for ~1.2M Sunrise customers, ranking ~1,000 existing live offers into three buckets (last redemption category / strongest interest category / max points price cap). No new offer creation required.
- Delivery model: API-consumed, weekly or bi-weekly batch scoring — real-time not required in phase 1. POC on a production member subset with defined KPIs before rollout. Target go-live: early 2027.
- Gating item: Requirement doc with Harsh & Mohiddin for feasibility check (AT-157) — timeline and implementation cannot be committed to the client until this clears.
Shoppers Stop
AI SEQUENCED · DISCOVERY DECISIONS OPEN
- Sequencing settled (Aug 11): First priority is the end-to-end coupon management and fulfilment execution layer — coupon constructs, orchestration through GRAVTY®, POS/online validation, and consumption/status feedback to close the data loop. Required regardless of whether targeting ends up cohort-led, rule-based or AI-personalised. Led by Kushagra Rastogi.
- AI Individualize deferred, not deprioritised (AT-173): Resumes once the execution foundation matures, moving progressively from cohort-/rule-led treatments towards member-level decisioning.
- 6 discovery decisions block the AI track (AT-174–179): Phase 1 objective · first controlled experiment scope · what AI decides per member vs business rules · coupon universe · earn-and-consume mechanic · success measure. All need one session with business/loyalty/campaign stakeholders — not yet scheduled.
- Client position (Jyotsna Lal, Aug 10): wants the full existing GRAVTY® configuration set enabled from day one — targeting by category/brand/bill value selectable at campaign time — even if piloted on smaller samples. Accepts AI learning is an ongoing process.
Mashreq Bank
DESIGN ANALYSIS REQUIRED
- AI Trust / Approval Workflow (BL-127491): Maker-checker story at Ideate stage — not yet to PSG. Engine team (Rahul Allu, Jul 8) looking at decoupling static rules from AI Trust.
- Architecture Decision: Standalone vs. AI Trust integration — unresolved, pending design analysis. 3 sub-tasks created: Tech Design Doc, QA Review, Test Plan — all To Do.
WestJet
CLIENT PUSHBACK · SEARCH + SIMULATION
- ⚠ Client Unhappy with Search Solution (Aug 21): WestJet is not accepting a search-screen solution proposed roughly two months ago, which loaded all flights for a single bid. Azeem to sync with Ishwar on scalability and ancillary mapping, and consult Nishant on the specific points of dissatisfaction.
- ⚠ Bonus Offer Simulation Rejected (Aug 21): Client is not accepting the proposed rate-return approach and insists on full simulation within the system, despite the complexity of per-member calculations and exclusions.
- Flight Search Load + Promotional Rules (Aug 20): WestJet requires 15 API calls for a single flight search due to multiple segments and fare classes. Promotional rules are applied at segment level, not flight level. Async integration approach to be finalised with the vested team's solution architect.
- GDPR — Transaction Deletion (Aug 20): Handling of transaction data on member deletion is unresolved. Being validated with product whether transactions should be hidden rather than deleted; if treated as an enhancement, a story is to be raised for the AI team.
- AI Trust / Fraud Scoring: Day 1 health confirmed — 127 BITs processed, 50 sampled, all correct, fraud scores low. Rollout itself remains stable.
- Evaluation & Retraining (AT-110): 3 reports delivered to WestJet (Jun 22 – Jul 8). New models trained and deployed on client-labelled data. Model metrics comparison (old vs new) shared with WestJet. AT-111 (Optimization & Retraining) next.
